God’s message is his love for all people – whoever they are, whatever their background, whatever they’ve done or not done. God’s welcome is for everyone and so is ours. You’re welcome to worship or activities; you can join in or just find a quiet space. You’ll find friends here.
The Church isn’t a place for people who all believe the same things or feel the same way. This is a place to explore, to find out about God’s love and find how Jesus’ promise that he came ‘that our joy may be full’ can be fulfilled in the life of each of us.
We’re here for the whole community. The church is a living community of ordinary people who worship God together, support and encourage one another and serve the world in which we live. Duror and St Munda’s churches are part of the life of our communities. These are places where we come to give thanks, to celebrate, to mourn and to mark the important stages on the journey of life.
To have God in our life doesn’t mean sailing on a boat with no storms, it means having a boat that no storm can sink!
Now I will take the load from your shoulders; I will free your hands from their heavy tasks.
But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid…
